Tools to Change Tanning's Culture - Presenter: Smart Tan
Last year, Smart Tan showed you that 84% of tanning clients today think that tanning is bad for them, introduced the bold "TanningTruth Campaign" and distributed 2 million copies of "Real" magazine to help you reverse that disturbing trend, urging clients to "rediscover the sun." On top of that, we showed you that more than half of salon employees themselves had been corrupted by sun scare messaging, and vowed to create new programs and systems to change that. This year we deliver on that promise.

Presenters: Scott Eggers and John Hurley
Divided into 2 45-minute sessions, we will show you how to increase your profits in 2008.
Scott Eggers will present counter sales training techniques that will effectively energize your salon's retail sales. This training will focus on one of the most important people in your salon, your Counter-Person. Instilling the confidence and ability to effectively sell lotions, tanning packages, accessories and more, this session is sure to be the talk of the industry.
Following that, John Hurley from Helios will give the Performance Marketing presentation, which highlights key marketing objectives to bring those long lost clients back into your salon. He will also discuss web sites, mySpace and other important marketing tools to increase your foot traffic and your profits.
